EMDR CONSULTING
Hello fellow therapists. If you have completed your EMDR basic training and are looking for a consultant to help you overcome “blocks” in processing or to run some of your difficult cases by and get ideas on how to proceed, you have come to the right place.
Let me introduce myself. I started out with CBT, solution focused and positive psychology theoretical orientations. When I started working with complex trauma, I realized that none of those orientations were truly helping to address the somatic distress and dissociation that some of these clients experience, I needed tools that actually worked to clear up intrusive thoughts, body sensations etc.
Being a solution focused therapist, I like to get to the root of the problem as quickly as possible in order to bring quick relief to my clients. When I heard of EMDR therapy, I decided to get trained and have LOVED its efficiency thus far. I’m both a Certified EMDR Therapist and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant in Training. I work with all ages treating complex trauma, dissociation and dissociative disorders (Including DID).
I can’t tell you how many times I get out of my sessions holding myself back from yelling “God, I love EMDR” just from witnessing the positive change in my clients.
As you can see, I have a passion for EMDR that I would love to share with you and get you to the place where you can feel confident in the implementation of EMDR. No matter what your blocks are, whether it is the implementation of each phase, or maybe even personal negative beliefs, I can help you overcome these blocks.
